Pawprints on our Heart Forever

Sophie

Hi! I’m Sophie, a 4-year-old Doxie-Beagle mix. Not to brag, but I’m pretty adorable, full of energy, and a total fashionista. Exploring the woods in my favorite sweatshirt? Yes, please! Hiking, swimming, and meeting new friends—especially humans—are my favorite things. My tail wags so much when I meet new people, I swear I might take flight!

I was adopted at six months old from a shelter, which saved my life. The moment I locked eyes with my human (the one I call Mommy), I knew she was my forever person. She spoils me with treats, toys, and cuddles—and tells me every day that I make her a better human. I don’t know exactly what that means, but if it comes with belly rubs, I’m all for it!

Now, let me introduce you to my pack—aka my family!

Merlin

Merlin is my first fur-pack mate. Mommy calls us “cousins” because our humans are sisters. He’s a 9-year-old Shih Tzu who wasn’t thrilled when I joined the pack, but don’t worry—he warmed up to me! We love playing ball together (though, full disclosure, I don’t really share well). In the winter, we dig snow tunnels and stay outside until our moms drag us back in before we get frozen paws.

Brodi

A year after Merlin and I became besties, Brodi joined the pack. He’s also my cousin (my mom has two sisters, so lucky me—I have two aunties who spoil me!). Brodi is a French Bulldog with a BIG personality. When we first met, he was just a tiny 3-month-old ball of energy, but he already knew how to use his big bulldog head to knock me over. We wrestle for hours and then snuggle when we’re tired. Now, he’s 3 years old, and we’re thick as thieves!

Remy

Remy is the newest addition to our pack. His dad is dating my auntie (Brodi’s mom), which makes him our honorary cousin. He’s a 6-year-old German Shepherd and, at 120 pounds, is way bigger than the rest of us—but don’t tell him that. He thinks he’s our size!

I wasn’t a fan of him at first (I get a little jealous when he takes my Mommy’s attention), but deep down, I love him. And I know he loves me because he never stops licking my face

Max

Surprise! The pack expanded again—Mommy adopted a little brother for me! Meet Max, an adorable 4-month-old Dachshund. During quarantine, Mommy decided it was time to grow our family, and she found Max through the All-American Dachshund Rescue (a great place if you love Doxies!).

Max is like a bouncing bunny, full of happiness and light. He always wants to play, wrestle, and then nap—which totally works for me, because I love napping. At first, I wasn’t thrilled about snuggling, but now I wrap my paws around him like a true big sister.

Roxy

Roxy, a 12-year-old Bull Terrier mix. She has a round face—half black, half white—and a little snaggletooth that sticks out from her bottom lip. At first, I was not a fan. I didn’t like sharing my toys, my attention, or my mom’s love. But, over time, Roxy grew on me. Now, I can’t imagine life without her. She’s my big sister, and even though we had a rough start, we found our rhythm.

Nala

I want you all to meet someone very special.

This is Nala, my baby sister and the newest member of our pack.

She has so much energy — the kind that makes her bounce, spin, and zoom like the world is one big adventure. She follows me everywhere (yes, everywhere), steals my toys, and somehow loves me even when I pretend not to notice.

Nala’s heart is huge, her kisses are endless, and her love is loud in the best way. She reminds me every day that family isn’t about being the same — it’s about sticking together, learning from each other, and sharing the journey.

I’ll show her the way… and she’ll keep me young.

That’s what sisters do!

Welcome to the pack, Nala.

.

So, that’s my pack in a nutshell! A wild, loving, playful family filled with different personalities—but at the end of the day, we all stick together.

We can’t wait to share our adventures of paws and positivity with you.

Welcome to the journey!
